The performance stage sits adjacent to the historic Elizabeth Park rose garden designed by Frederick Law Omstead. The venue serves 1000 patrons for speaking, music and arts based performances. It draws design inspiration by the abstraction of rose petal and the arches in the garden. The cantilever frame was inspired by the convertible canopy frame of a horse-drawn carriages during Hartford's golden age.
